What is End Grain? End grain is the grain of wood seen when it is cut across the growth rings. End grain boards are made by cutting the pieces of lumber into blocks and gluing the blocks together with the end grain up, forming the top surface of the cutting board. End grain is not only cherished for its rich and unique visual character, but also its superior durability.

This cutting board is 20" x 15" x 1 3/4" thick and the perfect size and weight for easy cleaning, flip it over and you’ve got a chic serving board. Now engraved with a wood inlay for your customized name, logo or initial, etc. Did we mention because it’s end-grain it heals itself?

Board shown in cover photo is Black Walnut with a cherry inlay, also choose from Ash, Cherry, and Maple wood. Made by hand by End-Grain by AMP, it will ship 3 weeks from when order is placed. All cutting boards will be coated with food grade mineral oil and wax for moisture protection.

• Attention! More than one inlay color can be added in for an additional $100 per Wood type. For example we have done A ash butcher block inlayed with cherry first, then added a maple inlay and finally finished with a black walnut inlay (Shown on the "Gills Onions'' board.)
